Salt River Fields (Diamondbacks-Rockies STF)

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, completed in 2011, is a premier Spring Training Facility located on Tribal Land in Arizona. This landmark project, a collaboration between the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), the Arizona Diamondbacks, and the Colorado Rockies, represents a significant achievement as the first Spring Training Facility to be constructed on Tribal Land. The facility, designed by HKS Architectural and engineered by HKS Structural, encompasses 2,350 tons of structural components. Mortenson served as the general contractor, overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art complex that enhances the training and fan experience for both teams. Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is not only a milestone for Spring Training venues but also a testament to the successful integration of professional sports infrastructure within a culturally significant community setting.
