AK-CHIN Casino Garage

Completed in 2016, the AK-CHIN Casino Garage is a significant component of a larger casino expansion project undertaken for the AK-Chin Indian Community. Managed by Sundt as the general contractor, this project involved the use of 1,100 tons of steel, reflecting the scale and the structural requirements of the expansion. Designed by Thalden, Boyd Emery Architects with engineering by Paul Koehler, the garage features a notable structural element with 120-foot-long joists supporting the ballroom area, showcasing advanced engineering techniques to accommodate both functional needs and aesthetic desires. This parking facility enhances the overall capacity and functionality of the casino complex, supporting its growth and visitor experience.
